My daughter decided she needed to come a week early, we panicked, we didn’t have anything planned for our dogs on such short notice. We called LOPCI on a wednesday afternoon and we had our dogs in boarding by Thursday morning. My daughter was born within the next 24 hours. I knew my dogs were safe and taken care of for the next few days while we waited to be discharged from the hospital. The best part is when I finally picked them up, they were so exhausted from playing in daycare for 3 days that they just slept and let our baby get acclimated to her new surroundings.
